For me, Real Estate has always been about people, community, and doing things the right way. Growing up in my family's business laid the foundation for a lifelong career in management and sales, instilling in me the importance of operating with complete integrity and always delivering on my commitments. For over 20 years, I've had the privilege of serving buyers, sellers, and investors across Eastern Iowa, including Clinton, Jackson and Scott counties and Western Illinois, a region rich with honest, hardworking people where there is truly something for everyone.
At the end of the day, home means spending quality time with my wife and business partner, Lisa Travis-Hilbert, and our dog Gracie. When I'm not helping clients, you can find me outdoors, hunting, fishing, meandering county roads in our classic car or putzing on my motorcycle. I also love gathering with family and friends and am deeply committed to giving back to the community that supports us, whether it's mentoring youth in hunting and fishing, spending time at Izaak Walton League or supporting our local Scout groups, American Legion or the DeWitt Operahouse Theater.

Over the course of my career, I've successfully guided clients through more than 600 transactions. Whether leveraging my deep knowledge of agriculture and land sales, drawing on over two decades of experience with real estate investors, or helping first-time homebuyers navigate their very first purchase, my priority remains the same: to absorb the stressful aspects of the transaction so my clients can make confident decisions every step of the way.
Building genuine, long-term relationships is what truly drives me in this business. I don't view transactions as simple deals. I view them as the start of lasting connections, and many of my clients have become life-long friends. To me, the ultimate definition of a job well done is when a client trusts me enough to refer their friends and family, allowing me to maintain a reputation built on trust, consistency, and results.
